EMPD Road Closures
The R21 highway between Nellmapius Drive Interchange and the Olifantsfontein Interchange will be temporarily closed on 27 and 28 April.
Eskom will be installing new conductors and powerlines across the R21 freeway between these two interchanges.
The highway will be closed during the below times:
- Saturday, 27 April: from 06:00 to 18:00
- Sunday, 28 April: from 06:00 to 12:00
The closure will affect traffic in both directions.
Please remember to factor this in when planning your journey to the airport, in order to avoid being late for your flight.
